  • To activate your MyISU Portal account:

    1. Go to http://isuportal.indstate.edu
    2. Click Activate Your Sycamore Login.

    IMPORTANT: You will need your University ID number (found on your acceptance letter), date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.

    If you are an international student, you will need your University ID number, date of birth, and the e-mail address you used when you applied.

  • To register or drop/add classes, log on to the MyISU Portal using your Sycamore login and password. Click on the "Student" tab (at top of page), and then click on the "Add/Drop Classes" link (located under MyISU Quick Links).

    Note: Freshmen, sophomores, transfer students in their first semester at ISU, and students who are not in good academic standing are required to have an advisement PIN to process any registration activity. The PIN should be obtained from their academic advisor and is only valid for one semester.

  • You must complete and submit this scheduling form to the Office of Registration and Records. The advisor's signature and the instructor's signature are required in the appropriate space on the form. The form must be returned to the Office of Registration and Records in order to be processed.

    Exception: Students who have over 63 earned hours are not required to obtain an advisor's signature.

  • To print your class schedule, log on to the MyISU Portal using Sycamore login and password. Then click "Student Schedule by Day and Time" and print the schedule.

  • Proxy access allows you to grant access to certain portions of your academic record to a parent, guardian, or any other individual you select.

  • A senior student at Indiana State University with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or above may be granted permission to enroll in a limited amount of 500-level graduate courses with approval of the student's advisor, graduate program representative, and the dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. Once approved, the registration form must be taken to the Office of Registration and Records for processing.
